How to delete old X replies

Old replies are often the posts people most want gone. X has no bulk delete, but finding them is free.

What X gives you for free

Open X search and type from:yourhandle filter:replies until:2022-01-01. Swap in your handle and a cutoff date.
Pick the Latest tab to see replies by date.
On each reply, open the ⋯ menu and choose Delete. X removes one reply per click.
Search can miss very old items. For a full list, request your archive in Settings → Your account → Download an archive of your data. It takes about a day.
