# South Korea's October exports jump 93.7% to $115.3 billion as chip shipments surge 259%

South Korea's exports rose 93.7% from a year earlier to $115.3 billion in October, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources said on Sunday, Nov. 1, per Yonhap. Semiconductor exports climbed 259% to $56.4 billion, making up nearly half of all shipments as AI infrastructure spending keeps memory demand hot.
